I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) in WA. I have worked in behavioral healthcare settings for a non-profit organization focused on community-based mental health services and in virtual settings. I specialize in individual therapy and have experience with adolescents and adults. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to provide therapeutic services within in-patient treatment settings. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, substance use, grief, self-esteem, anger management, and career issues/life goals issues.

I have completed clinical psychology residential learning experience training and have been trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I have a master’s degree from Saybrook University in Clinical Psychology and am currently a Clinical Psychology PhD student. I have a second master’s in science in Management and a Clinical Psychology Certificate. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Jackson State University.

I offer a person-centered/humanistic approach to treatment focused on holistic care with emotion-focused therapy. Additionally, I provide psychotherapy to assist clients in exploring their thought processes, emotions, and behavioral patterns, along with developing adaptive coping mechanisms to reduce overall stress and enhance their well-being. I believe in building a strong, mutually engaged therapist-client relationship to allow clients a safe space and the opportunity to experience themselves in fresh, hopeful, and transformative ways. Ultimately, at the heart of my approach, listening, collaborating, recognizing the client’s strengths, and allowing you to be yourself is the most important.
